This page explains how to permanently delete your DrawShare account and what happens to your data when you do.

Steps to delete your account
- Sign in to your DrawShare account.
- Go to your Account Settings page.
- Scroll down to the Account Management section.
- Select Close My Account.
- Read the confirmation text carefully.
- Click the Confirm button to proceed with deleting your account.
Important: Account deletion is permanent and irreversible after the grace period. Once your account is deleted, you will lose access to your profile, all artwork and posts you have published, comments, likes, followers, following relationships, and direct messages.
What data is deleted
The following is deleted immediately or within 30 days of account deletion:
- Your profile (username, bio, avatar, and profile settings)
- All artwork and posts you published
- Comments you made on other users' posts
- Likes and reactions you gave
- Direct messages you sent
- Follow relationships (followers and following)
What data is retained
Certain data may be retained for a limited period after deletion for legal or operational reasons:
- Anonymized usage analytics — up to 2 years
- Server logs containing IP addresses — up to 90 days (abuse and fraud prevention)
- Financial records required by law — up to 7 years

Active subscriptions
If you have an active premium membership subscription, please cancel it through Account Settings before deleting your account. Deleting your account does not automatically cancel a Stripe subscription, and you may continue to be billed if you do not cancel first. No refunds are issued for partial billing periods upon account deletion.

If you are unable to access your account or Account Settings page, you may request manual account deletion by contacting us via the contact form. Please include the email address associated with your account and use the subject "Account Deletion Request". We will process manual deletion requests within 30 days in accordance with applicable data protection laws.
